Nuway offers a wide range of rigid single & double sided made-to-order mats which provide an outstanding first line of defence against soil and moisture entering a building on the soles of shoes and the treads of wheeled traffic. Standard Tuftiguard mats incorporating aluminium and PVC scraper bars with rubber or textile wiper strips are available in 12mm & 17mm heights to suit the size of the matwell. The wiper strips and scraper bars are assembled in an open or closed construction with high tensile electro galvanised steel wire linkages running through the components to give the mat its structural integrity and superior load bearing capacity.

Single and Double Sided: Nuway Tuftiguard is double sided which means it can be reversible where the configuration of the entrance mat allows, effectively doubling its lifespan.

12mm/17mm: Nuway Tuftiguard and Grid Matting is available in 12mm/17mm. Nuway connect matting is available in 10mm/17mm/22mm.

Nuway matting is available as a single or double width strip for increased moisture removal.

As the name suggests, scraper bars literally scrape soil from the traffic crossing the entrance system. Tuftiguard wiper strips can be specified in both single and double format. Double format offers twice the wiping area to increase moisture absorption over a shorter distance and enables more colour to be used to reflect the interior colour scheme.

A closed construction is suitable for both interior and transitional areas. Soil removed from shoes and wheel treads is collected within the mat itself. The gapless nature of the closed construction allows for maximum use of coloured wiper strips to complement interior design schemes.

An open construction provides more storage capacity for wet and dry soil and is therefore particularly suitable for external use. Removed particles and moisture can fall through the open sections to be collected in the matwell.

High tensile steel wire linkages running through the components give the mat its structural integrity and superior load baring capacity.
