The job for any mat or matting is to keep the dirt at bay and protect the floor underneath while remaining stylish and inviting. At Matrex Mats & Matting we have a number of innovative ways of meeting this challenge.

Coir matting is a made from natural fibres with a PVC backing, it is available in three thicknesses and a range of colours. Coir matting can be personalized with your own logo.

Custom designs, logos and messages can also be put onto a jet-print mat, using any choice of 44 colours and different sizes.

We also offer PVC clip together tiles in different textures and ten different colours. They are an ideal solution for any industrial, commercial or domestic floor areas. Clip together tiles are loose laid on the floor and its unique interlocking system makes it easy to fit with no special tools required.

To keep mats in place we also supply matwell metal frames, available in aluminium or brass which are fixed to the floor.  Any shape or size can be made.

Industrial, plastic and rubber mat options:

  • Heronrib - Slip resistant matting for barefoot wet area e.g. Swimming pools an saunas. It has anti bacterial and anti fungal additives. Heronrib is easy to clean.
  • Vynagrip - Heavy duty slip resistant matting with drainage. Helps to reduce standing fatigue. Vynagrip is hygienic and easy to clean.
  • Rubber Matting - Matrex has stock of Rubber matting. Fine Fluted is 3mm thick and available in 1m or 1.2m wide rolls, Wide grooved is 5mm thick available in 1.2m wide rolls and Chequered Rubber matting is 5mm thick and is also available in Oil resistant. Desk chair mats are also available.
  • Anti-fatigue matting - Our range of anti fatigue matting is the best way of keeping both your employees and your profits in good condition. There is plenty of evidence of the tiredness, pain and other physical problems that standing still for a long time can inflict on various parts of the body. Anti fatigue matting creates a comfortable and healthy working environment.
